Food @ Proper Time + Yeast that Transforms Us 🍲

What is Spiritual food in the bible? ^

[Isaiah 55:2-3] Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare. Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.

So what is Proper Spiritual Food?

[John 6:48, 51, 53] Jesus is the bread of life / the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever.

This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.

What does it mean to eat Jesus' flesh and to drink his blood?

--> In the time of the 1st Coming, it means to eat Jesus' words.

The Word Became Flesh
[John 1:1-2] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.

Jesus is the bread of life ^

Parable on the Faithful Wise Servant, Food at Proper Time

[Matthew 24:45-51] “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’ and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

🍲 Spiritual food = God's word

To be faithful wise servants acknowledged by God at the end of the day, we will need to give to others food (i.e. give them spiritual food) at the proper time.

This also means that that there is food given, but not at the proper time (i.e. expired food) 😲

Ps: Spiritual meaning of food sacrificed to idols = satan's food

Pps: In Daniel 1:8, Daniel was fasting from Babylon's food (i.e. staying away from satan's food)

What is "Yeast" that transforms us?

🥣 spiritual yeast = teachings

• Matthew 16:6,12 Jesus told his disciples to “Be careful, be on their guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” The disciples understood that Jesus was not telling them to guard against the yeast used in bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

• Galatians 5:7-9 You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth? That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you. “A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough.”

Unravelling the Parable in Matthew 13:33

He told them still another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour until it worked all through the dough.”

--> The kingdom of heaven is like yeast (=teachings) that a woman(=pastor, see below) took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour (=people) until it worked all through the dough (=transform the dough/people).

Spiritual Adultery

• Galatians 4:19 My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you --> Paul refenced the act of his ministry as a mother/pastor giving birth/preaching the gospel

God (husband/spirit) ------ seed ----> Pastor (woman/wife) ------ seed ----> children of God

Ps: To commit spiritual adultery is to take the seed (=word) from satan and to have children of a different seed (not children borned again of God's word but children born of lies).
