Parable of Mountain mentioned in the Bible

spiritual meaning of Mountain = "gathering of soil/hearts"

⛰️ spiritual Mountain = church

In one of the dreams Daniel interpreted:

[Daniel 2: 31-35] “Your Majesty looked, and there before you stood a large statue—an enormous, dazzling statue, awesome in appearance. The head of the statue was made of pure gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of baked clay. While you were watching, a rock was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were all broken to pieces and became like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer. The wind swept them away without leaving a trace. But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth.

Stone that struck image became a mountain

--> Rock (= word) judges idol (=falsehoods)

mountain (=kingdom of God set up) will fill the whole earth and never be destroyed.

[Daniel  2:44] “In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever.

Church on God's holy Mountain Mount Zion ^

3 kinds of "Mountains" as mentioned in the Bible

There are 3 groups of people in the bible -- (1) Betrayers, (2) Destroyers and (3) God's people. Betrayers are God's people that eventually turn away from Him. Destroyers are people who oppose God and His works.

These 3 groups of people are characterized by 3 different types of "Mountains".

1. Mountain of Betrayal

[Revelation 8:8] The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood...

Great mountain burning with fire thrown into the sea

--> Mountain of Betrayal thrown into the sea where satan is.

Fire (=word) judges the sins of the mountain (= church) that betrayed

[Revelation 6:14] The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

Mountain of Betrayal is removed from its place in heaven, similar to Revelation 12:4

"Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth."

--> Stars (=God's people) swept out of the sky (out of heaven)

Pastors have betrayed and will be judged.

Traders = Pastors, People who buy & sell God's word

2. Mountain of Destruction

[Matthew 24:16] then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains

Do not stay in the sea where satan is. Matthew 24 is the new covenant of our era which we will need to keep in order to be acknowledge by God as His people in the time of the 2nd coming.
