1) Trumpet Call + New Song

Responding to the sound of God's Trumpet Call ^

Trumpet

God's people need to respond to the sound of His trumpet call.

Trumpet call/sounds = God's word

Trumpet = flesh speaking God's word

Trumpeter = God

New Song

God's people need to know how to sing the "new song".

New Song = Word of testimony / Gospel of fulfilment

2) Wine & Olive

God's Vineyard ^

Wine = Prophecy + Fulfilment of God's word

Wineskin = Person with Prophecy + Fulfilment of God's word

The Parable of the Ten Virgins - Matthew 25:1-13

“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

“At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’

“Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’

“‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

“But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.

“Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’

“But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

Some quick takeaways:

• The 5 virgins knew where to get the oil [word of testimony] from but they were foolish and did not get it until it was too late.

• It is not enough to have the "lamps" but we also need the word of testimony with us.

3) 3 Kinds of "Israel" & The One Who Overcomes

The One Who Overcomes ^

Jacob Wrestles With God - Genesis 32:22-28

That night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two female servants and his eleven sons and crossed the ford of the Jabbok. After he had sent them across the stream, he sent over all his possessions. So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak. When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.”

But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

The man asked him, “What is your name?”

“Jacob,” he answered.

Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.”

Israel = The One Who Overcomes

Evidence of overcoming = establishment of the 12 tribes

• Jacob: Had 12 sons

• Jesus: Had 12 disciples

Joseph’s Dreams - Genesis 37:9-10

Then he had another dream, and he told it to his brothers. “Listen,” he said, “I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”

When he told his father as well as his brothers, his father rebuked him and said, “What is this dream you had? Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow down to the ground before you?”

• Sun = Father

• Moon = Mother

• Stars = Brothers

Sun / Moon / Stars = God's people with different positions

4) 4 "Living Creatures" & "Eyes"

4 Living creatures = 4 Archangels

Eyes = Spirits / Other Angels
