[Titus 1:12, 16] "One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are always liars, evil beasts, slow bellies." ... ... "They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good."
[Proverbs 30:2-3] Surely I am only a brute, not a man; I do not have human understanding. I have not learned wisdom, nor have I attained to the knowledge of the Holy.
š¹ Beast = person without understanding of God's word
š§ Man = person with understanding of God's word
Beast in Prophecies š¶š¦š
There are 3 groups of people in the bible -- (1) Betrayers, (2) Destroyers and (3) God's people. Betrayers are God's people that eventually turn away from Him. Destroyers are people who oppose God and His works.

7 heads & 10 horns of the Beast
[Daniel 7:3-7] Four great beasts, each different from the others, came up out of the sea. āThe first was like a lion, and it had the wings of an eagle. I watched until its wings were torn off and it was lifted from the ground so that it stood on two feet like a human being, and the mind of a human was given to it. āAnd there before me was a second beast, which looked like a bear. It was raised up on one of its sides, and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. It was told, āGet up and eat your fill of flesh!ā āAfter that, I looked, and there before me was another beast, one that looked like a leopard. And on its back it had four wings like those of a bird. This beast had four heads, and it was given authority to rule. āAfter that, in my vision at night I looked, and there before me was a fourth beastāterrifying and frightening and very powerful. It had large iron teeth; it crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. It was different from all the former beasts, and it had ten horns.
v21: this horn was waging war against the holy people and defeating them
v25: He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people
No. of heads = 1 (1st beast) + 1 (2nd beast) + 4 (3rd beast) + 1 (4th beast) = 7 heads
No. of horns = 10 (4th beast)
This beast with 7 heads and 10 horns again makes its appearance in Revelation 13.
And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion.
What is this beast with 7 heads & 10 horns?
